Your excursion trip to visit the Napuru Waterfalls, located on the slopes of Mount Meruunder Tanzania Forest Service Management. The trip typically lasts 6–8 hours and combines hikingthrough lush forest with the option to experience local culture Coffee farms.

08:00 —Hotel pickup:
Our Tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha. During the 45-minute scenic drive to Napuru Village, you can enjoy views of the local landscape and coffee plantations.
10:00 —Begin hike:
The hike starts in Napuru Village. The path is considered moderately challenging and can be slippery,especially during the wet season. You will trek through the rainforest and banana plantations while ourtour guide points out local flora and fauna.
12:30 —Arrive at the falls:
You will reach the 78-meter-high Napuru Waterfall, where you can relax, take photos and feel the cool mist. For the adventurous, a dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls is an option.
13:30 —Picnic lunch:
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the serene surroundings before starting the return hike.
14:30 —Return hike:
Begin the walk back to Napuru Village. You may spot more wildlife, such as birds or monkeys, on thereturn trip.!
16:00 —Optional cultural visit:
Depending on your tour, you may have the opportunity to visit a local village, meet Meru tribe artisans, and learn about the community’s agricultural practices. Some tours also offer a coffee-makingexperience.!
17:00 —Return to Arusha:
You will be driven back to your hotel in Arusha, completing your full-day adventure.

What to wear:
Wear comfortable hiking shoes or boots, breathable pants clothing, and a hat. Be prepared for unevenand potentially slippery terrain.
What to bring:
Pack sunscreen, insect repellent, a camera, HD binoculars and a refillable water bottle. A light rain jacketis a good idea, especially during the wetter months.
Consider a 4×4 vehicle:
While 4×4 minibuses are an option, a private safari 4×4 tour vehicle is recommended for a moreconvenient and reliable trip, given the dirt roads on the mountain’s foothills.
Best time to visit:
The drier season, from June to February, offers the most optimal weather conditions for the hike. Avoidthe peak of the rainy season, around April, when river crossings can become inaccessible.
Cash for tipping:
While tips are generally not included in the tour cost, it is customary to tip your guide at the end of thetrip.!
